Solstice Moon

In 2018 I took a photo of the Full Super Solstice Moon 2018. I decided to sketch it with colored pencils. This is the view from my front yard looking east to the hills where the forest is.

Mushrooms! Not the Magical Kind

It's amazing what you can actually do with crayons without a coloring book.  Thing such as this I find around the yard to draw from life. Upstate NY has wonderful varieties of mushrooms.  I drew this when I came back from Colorado after the last man who broke my heart. I was homesick and very lonely in Colorado. What was I thinking leaving quiet upstate NY for a loud obnoxious Front Range city? Oh! That's right!  I let my emotions take over my huge heart.  Pains.

Fairy Magic

I have not drawn anything in about 20 years. I used to draw wildlife, (especially sharks) fantasy, and dark gothic landscapes. All of my art, my music, and my sanity all got destroyed by a bully who did not want to see me shine. I did not believe in myself anymore during and after the abuse, and I really believed I had no talent like the bully suggested. I am never putting myself last again and I will just take it one day at a time and keep sharing my art while I improve.

This for me is part of my own therapy, to give birth to new ideas, to find a new start for anything, and for finding the expression I could never release
